This year's Cleggan Claddaghduff Festival of the Sea is going to be bigger and better than ever!
Alongside informative talks, guided nature walks and great fun kids events we’ve tag rugby, soccer and fishing competitions. Throw in the world famous Omey Races and the Cleggan Claddaghduff Connemara Pony show and there’s something for everybody in what promises to be a seriously fun festival... so don’t miss your chance to make a bit of a splash!
CLIFDEN CONNEMARA PONY SHOW AND SALES
Thursday August 19th to Monday 23rd
 The annual Connemara Pony festival will run in Clifden from Monday 16th August to Sunday 22nd August.
The week will be packed full of pony events with the highlight of the week taking place on Thursday with the world famous Connemara Pony Show.
Visitors from all over Ireland will travel to Clifden to witness this spectacular festival. The Connemara Pony is Ireland’s only native pony breed and has travelled all around the world. Connemara Ponies can now be found all over Europe, America, Australia and even South Africa.
CLIFDEN ARTS FESTIVAL

The 33rd Clifden Arts Festival features an interesting mix of events, set against the background of this beautiful Connemara landscape as the autumn colours are in full bloom. We need a good celebration to lift our spirits. We look forward to welcoming you here.
WALKING
 We are ideally situated for walking and hill climbing with the Western Way Waymarked Walk running through our land. As we are surrounded by mountains you will be spoiled for choice as to where you might wish to climb. The Twelve Bens, Maoilrea and The Devils Mother mountain range are all nearby. You are free to wander safely throughout our own mountain range farmland.

Connemara Championship Links
